01

What is Playwright?

Playwright provides browser automation. Playwright Test adds a runner and testing tools for JavaScript and TypeScript projects. It supports Chromium, Firefox and WebKit; choose browsers based on the application’s users.

02

Choose your starting point

New to coding? First practise JavaScript functions, objects, promises and async/await. Manual testers can begin by translating an existing test case into actions and expected results. Developers can use the same path to check a critical application journey.

03

One continuing project

Our illustrative shopping scenario follows a customer choosing an item, checking the total and submitting an order. Each resource asks you to connect technical choices to customer risk. These are learning briefs, not claims about completed student projects.
